SCIARRELLI 18 M

The SCIARRELLI 18 M  is the 109th project by the unforgettable Carlo Sciarrelli, Italian genius of naval design in business from the 1950s to the early 2000s. She is a magnificent 18-metre wooder cutter built in Crisman-Giraldi shipyard in §Trieste, which Carlo Sciarrelli considered one of his best designs. The project is from 1986, but the boat was launched in 1988.

Immediately after the launch, in 1989, she won the Corfù-Rimini, while in 2008 she obtained third place in the Barcolana in the category of boats built by Carlo Sciarrelli.

In 2022, the mast was cleaned to leave wooden surface only, and then 12 coats of two-component were applied with the disassembly of winches, rails, etc. The B&G wind instrumentation is also being replaced.  Between 2017 and 2016, service and engine batteries were replaced. In 2012, the bilge and the sides were repainted with bi-component copal, and several Spectra sails were added. Between 2005 and 2006, a refit was carried out which included the modification of the mast, from 1 to 2 rows of spreaders, with the involvement of Carlo Sciarrelli himself; engine replacement (subject to regular annual maintenance with oil change, filter and inverter) and re-gumming of the deck teak.

Finally, the 18 M is excellently equipped, with: water maker, large set of Spectra + Dacron sails, leather upholstery, additional oversized alternator for 100 A services, full coverage of sides, deck and cockpit. VIEW BROCHURE
