DETAIL
Akerboom shipyard was founded in 1932 in Boskoop, the Netherlands by Hendrik Akerboom and it was specialized in the construction of traditional wooden boats called "schouwen". From the second post-war period until the early 1980s, the shipyard was a major manufacturer of commercial, work and military boats. At the same time, it also started a collaboration with the yacht manufacturer De Vries for the manufacture of pleasure yachts. Starting from the 1980s, the production of custom yachts became the main activity of the shipyard, until the acquisition by De Vries Schhpsbouw in 1986 and the transformation into a manufacturer of superstructures for pleasure yachts, under the name of Akerbook Yacht Equipment. Among the main most outstanding produced by the shipyard up to the 70s, we find the Doggerbank 20 and the Doggerbank 702.You're currently viewing 0 boats from builder AKERBOOM BERGUM
