The Hanse 411 is a Fast Cruiser with classic modern lines, an excellent compromise between performance and comfort. It is a Judel Vrolijk project, with a deck design and an interior style that reminds of American boats from the East Coast. The Hanse 411 can be labelled as a “Fast Cruiser” boat considering the sports characteristics of its project. However, its volumes are wide enough to compete with sheer Crusiers. The Hanse 411 has a very elongated sail plan, that guarantees higher effectiveness with light winds. This unit was launched in 2005 in the version with 2 double cabins, 1 single cabin and 2 bathrooms; blue hull (wrapping applied in 2016) and very well accessorized with: Diesel heating system, 1 electric winch, bow thrusters, Hi-Fi system with outdoor speakers, rudder shaft in steel and not aluminium. The brand story

Hanse Yachts AG was founded in 1990 in Greifswald (former East Germany) on the site of an ancient shipyard dating back to the 1911. The Berlin wall fell not much more time before and the economic scenario is not the best. Michael Schmidt, a famous sailor with the dream of building boats, purchases in Sweden the rights and designs to manufacture a small boat, the Aphrodite 291 (renamed Hanse 291). The boat, built very quickly, was first introduced at Hanseboot in 1994. Schmidt has clear ideas: boats must be spacious, quick and not too expensive.

From now on, the story takes off very quickly. At first, just like many other shipyards, old moulds were purchased, and a restyling was made in order to keep on selling. The big turning point took place in the first years of ‘00s when the shipyard took a huge leap and gave mandate to Judel & Vrolijk studio to design new models: the 341, 371 and the 401 that will later become the 411. The 2004 was the year of 531, a very big and innovative 15-meters; we can start talking about a signature Hanse style starting from this model: this is a new and unique way to build boats. It follows, in 2005, the creation of the company’s first foreign subsidiary in the USA.

In the last 10 years, Hanse Yachts AG group successfully completed several acquisitions that consolidated its leadership as one of the biggest names in the global pleasure craft industry. Among these acquisitions we find: Fjord (2005) and Sealine (2013) for motor boats; Moody (2007) and Dehler (2009) for sailboats; Privilege Marine (2019) for catamarans. In 2008, the shipyard’s production plants become more to make the ships creation process better than before. The Hanse Style When Hanse Yachts presented the 531 model in 2004 they start to talk about the Hanse Style. This boat’s main features, which are also the main features of the brand style, are: Elegant and modern shapes; Comfortable internal atmosphere which reminds the loft style; Precious materials usage; Eye for details.
