FORTUNA 46
FORTUNA 46
The FORTUNA 46, built by the historic Dutch shipyard De Vries, was produced between the late 1960s and the mid-1980s, a period during which the Dutch shipyard built custom or small-series bluewater sailing yachts, characterized by steel or marine-grade aluminum construction, great sturdiness, and handcrafted finishes of the highest quality. Its elegant and powerful lines ensure stability and safety even during the most demanding crossings, while the classic Dutch-style construction testifies to superior build quality. The solid teak interiors, warm and welcoming, offer comfort and functionality for life on board, with generous spaces and an authentic atmosphere. Equipped with a balanced and easily manageable sail plan, the FORTUNA 46 combines performance and reliability, and is ideal both for offshore cruising and for those who desire a yacht with character, where robustness and style blend with well-balanced performance and impeccable seaworthiness.
The FORTUNA 46 is excellently equipped, featuring: 2 cabins each with private bathrooms (including the owner’s aft cabin), teak deck, bow thruster, generator, diesel heating, stainless steel bowsprit, removable staysail, manual furling mainsail, Raymarine electronics with autopilot and GPS interfaced with radar, full deck cover, bimini top and sprayhood, removable cockpit table, and a fully equipped kitchen. Always well maintained, in 2024 a new generator was installed, in 2022 new gel batteries, and in 2019 new sails. In 2012, she underwent a thorough general refit: the entire boat was disassembled and sandblasted, much of the planking was replaced, as well as the teak deck, and the engine was renewed. The 2010 refit included thickness measurements, hull repainting (steel), and replacement of the spiral rigging and seacocks. VIEW BROCHURE
