The SLY 53 is a Fast Cruiser optimally designed by Marco Lostuzzi and first introduced during Genoa Boat Sow in 2006. Innovative and classical elements are harmoniously blended in smooth, clean and very elegant lines, without any strain related to fads or tonnage regulation. Generous sail plan, limited displacement and effective appendages offer high performances in all conditions and sailing styles. The large cockpit guarantees an optimal distribution of spaces and floor area, while the aft wide space, behind the two wheels, is perfect for sunbathing while cruising. The large carbon wheels of the Sly 53 convey a feeling of full control of the boat, whereas the possibility to handle both sails from the cockpit, without changing position, allows for comfortable sailing even with minimum crew. Indoor, the Sly 53 detaches itself from the traditional school in order to research a modern and captivating design, as well as innovative materials. There are also several storage spaces.

The Sly Marine SRL, owned by Trevisani family, acquired Sly Yachts brand in 2010, kept the production in the historic shipyard in Cesena (northern Italy) and guaranteed the continuity with the core values of what used to be a renowned brand for high-quality sailboats (such as the Sly 61, Sly 48, Sly 43,  Sly 42 and Sly 38). In 2013, the Trevisani family also acquired the Cantiere del Pardo from the German group Bavaria Yachtbau, thus uniting two historical brands like Grand Soleil and Sly Yachts within one group: Cantiere del Pardo SpA. The last model manufactured under the Sly brand was the Sly 43, introduced at Cannes Yachting Festival in 2013. View the brochure here.
