HALLBERG RASSY 42E

The HALLBERG RASSY 42E was built from 1980 until 1991 inf 255 units. In the beginning, only the ketch rig configuration was offered. Later the sloop version was introduced and in the end almost only sloops rig 42E were built. Mast position was the same, but the sloop had a taller mast and larger genoa sheet winches. This is a superbly maintained HALLBERG RASSY 42E, a highly regarded ocean-going yacht designed by Enderlein & Rassy and built in 1982. She has had only two careful owners and has been in the same family since 1993, when she was purchased from the original owner. The yacht has only ever been sailed in the Adriatic Sea by the owner and has been cherished, carefully maintained, and consistently kept up to date.

The engine is serviced annually, including impeller, oil and filters, and galvanic anodes etc. The yacht is taken out of the water every year for inspection of the underwater hull, with antifouling reapplied annually.

Below deck, the yacht offers excellent liveaboard and cruising comfort. She features a spacious, customized owner’s cabin with a central double berth aft, additional storage space, one well-ventilated head, and a classic mahogany interior in good clean condition. Always maintained to the highest standards, recent upgrades include, in 2024, a new sprayhood and a replacement of the propeller shaft seal. In 2023, a new anchor with a 70-m chain and a full service of the 60 m2 genoa.
