HALLBERG RASSY 42

THE HALLBERG RASSY 42 is a prestigious Blue Water Cruiser, a true symbol of Scandinavian boatbuilding excellence. Designed for long-range cruising in total safety, she combines a stable and seaworthy hull with elegant and timeless lines. The protected deck and central cockpit ensure comfort and safety even in rough seas, while the quality of the solid teak interiors reflects the unmistakable Hallberg-Rassy style. The balance between performance and sturdiness makes her ideal for demanding owners seeking reliability, comfort and autonomy on long passages. The Hallberg-Rassy 42 was built in two main versions: Hallberg-Rassy 42E (Enderlein): built between 1980 and 1991, with about 255 units launched. Hallberg-Rassy 42F (Frers): produced between 1991 and 2001, with about 181 units built. According to Magnus Rassy himself, the Enderlein-designed HR 42 is the greatest “traveller” of the Hallberg-Rassy family: the central cockpit and limited number of cabins ensure the necessary privacy when living aboard, while the remarkable storage capacity and generous autonomy in water and fuel allow for long ocean passages.

THE HALLBERG RASSY 42 is well equipped, with: teak deck, generator, diesel heating, hydraulic furling system, hydraulic winches, autopilot, 2 double cabins with bathrooms, convertible dinette with 4 berths, fully equipped galley, and Hi-Fi system. Among the most recent maintenance and improvement works: new teak deck in 2020; engine replacement in 2011. Ready to sail. VIEW BROCHURE
