History
Founded in 1955 in Culver (Oregon, USA) as Highway Products, Inc., Seaswirl shipyard had different owners throughout the years (Bramco from 1967 to 1987; Outboard Motor Corp. From 1987 to 2000 and Genmar from 2001 to 2007). In 2007, the headquarter was relocated to Syracuse (Indiana, USA), not far from Michigan Lake shores, and the company name was changed in “Striper”. STRIPER shipyard is specialised in the construction of sporty fishing boats with the characteristics of the typical American fishing boats: self-bailing deck, composite transom, V-Trac hull.
