Quorning Boats
The Danish yard Quorning Boats was founded in 1967 by Børge and Jens Quorning. Specializing in the production of trimarans, it gained fame for its craftsmanship precision and innovative boat design.
The Dragonfly model has achieved particular success for its exceptional performance and onboard comfort. With over fifty years of experience, Quorning Boats remains a benchmark in the sailing world for the quality and ingenuity of its boats. Quorning Boats trimarans are famous mainly for the system called "swing wing", whereby, in a few seconds (specifically 32 seconds for the Dragonfly 1200), the side hulls can be folded alongside the central one, making the "mooring" width similar to that of monohulls of the same length.
In addition, Quorning Boats boast high-level construction, high-quality equipment, and an excellent Nordic tradition. Currently, the yard produces the following models: Dragonfly 25, 28, 32, and 40.
