ULDB
"ULDB" is the acronym of "Ultra Light Displacement Boat". The ULDBs were born on the Californian coast, where since the beginning of the last century light boats have been tested, or at least lighter than their historical rivals, the English boats. They were initially used for some regattas that are run in practice on long downwind lines, and it is precisely as a Racer that they also spread in Italy. To decree the success of this type of boat was above all the passion of yachtsmen who are not afraid of speed and face Atlantic crossings on the trade wind route, aware of the fact that a light boat is often easier to use.
