DETAIL
GERMAN FRERS 60
The German Frers 60 is a 60-foot sloop, a one-off product built in France at the Composite Works shipyard, one of the pioneers in composite construction, based on a design by German Frers. Formerly known as Kratos 60, she has raced in several regattas in France, including Les Voiles de St Tropez, thanks in part to the contribution of prestigious crews selected from the team of Gianni Agnelli.
The German Frers 60 is entirely built in carbon and remains a modern and highly performant design. Its canting keel, produced by the renowned company Cariboni, a world leader in the development of this component, allows the boat to confidently face strong winds and achieve bold sailing angles. Further enhancing its performance, a canard strategically positioned forward of the mast optimizes upwind angles, ensuring smoother sailing. The generous deck equipment, along with carbon sails, contribute to the boat's exceptional performance, whether in light winds or in strong winds and rough seas, offering a spectacular sailing experience in every condition.
