History

Picchiotti shipyard is a historic Tuscan brand acquired by the Perini Navi Group in 1990 and dedicated to the production of motor yachts. Among the historical models of the shipyard are: Picchiotti68, Cariddi, Giannutri, Giglio, Giraglia, Gorgona, Lampuga 42, Mistral and Picchiotti Super Versilia. The Perini Navi group operates in the superyacht boating sector with 2 specific brands: Perini Navi for sailing ships and Picchiotti for motor yachts. Today the group led by Fabio Perini and Gian Carlo Ragnetti, is made up of four companies acquired over the years with the aim of expanding production capacity and entering new market segments, including the engine. The group operates in five market sectors: large sailing ships from 40 to 60 meters; large sailing ships over 60 meters long and special projects; sailing yacht of the Racing Line; sailing yacht of the Fast Cruising line; motor yacht of the Vitruvius series.
