The Sun Odyssey 37, designed by Jacques Faroux, was introduced in 1999 as a replacement for the famous Sun Odyssey 36.2 and remained in production until 2006; she was one of the models designed and built immediately after the merger of Jeanneau and Beneteau.It is a performance-oriented Cruiser, but with spacious interiors designed for family cruising in comfort, easy to maneuver even with a small crew, produced in two versions (2 and 3 cabins).The Sun Odyssey 37 achieved unprecedented success as it managed to best combine roominess, comfort and speed like no other boat in the same range has been able to do. The Sun Odyssey 37 received numerous awards, such as the Cruising World of the Year in the Best Value category at the Atlantic City Sailing Expo 200 (USA).The Sun Odyssey 37 is among the best performing boats in its category, with a very thin bow and a not excessive maximum beam, and can comfortably accommodate up to eight people in the large cockpit.
