Cantiere CANTIERE NAVALE ARNO
History
The story of CANTIERE NAVALE ARNO shipyard began in 1935, following the heritage of “Giuseppe Picchiotti e Figli” shipyard, founded back in 1907. The shipyard first started to build commercial and military boats, and from 1973 to 1984 it manufactured wooden boats like the Leopard 19, leopard 20, Leopard 21 and Leopard S.
The first fiberglass model, the Leopard Sport 19, was launched on the 2nd of August 1984. Among the most famous M/Ys produced by the shipyard in this stage, we find: M/Y Giglio, M/Y Giannutri, M/Y Giraglia, M/Y Gorgona, M/Y Mistral, M/Y Tiger, Yacht Lampuga, M/Y Lupo di Mare and M/Y Cariddi. From 1975 to 2009, the Cantiere Navale Arno collaborated with Rodriguez Group, in charge of the exclusive sale of Leopard M/Ys manufactured by the shipyard.
Currently, the Leopard line includes several motor yachts between 23 and 46 meters. After the end of the collaboration with Rodriguez Group, the shipyard was renamed Leopard Yachts.
